This swimbait-style bait has an impressive action and profile that fish find irresistible. A segmented body and slender profile deliver a very natural and lifelike swimming action that is essential to getting bites in clear water or from pressured fish. Anglers will find it performs great on a jighead, rigged weedless, or as a trailer. It turns in the same outstanding performance around vegetation, wood, or in open water. It swims and casts great, and the hookup is solid when you get a bite.
Staff Perspective: As mentioned above, there are so many great applications with this bait, it’s hard to leave as one application. I find it to be a fantastic bladed-jig trailer as it bulks up the presentation and adds an attractive side-to-side swimming action in concert with the vibration. I like the action as a small swimbait, too, literally anything could work. The Blade Minnow comes in 13 awesome colors.
