Legendary Walleye Angler Pete Harsh Passes

Legendary Walleye Angler Pete Harsh Passes

Our condolences to the family and friends of Pete Harsh, long-time professional walleye angler who was one of the most recognizable anglers fishing the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail back in the day.

Known as “Mr. Tiller” for his penchant for running a tiller boat during a period when just about everyone else was running bigger, faster console boats, he was consistent performer.

He appeared on one of our favorite Walleye In-Sider covers in January/February 2002. “The interior caption read: Peter Harsh braves harsh winter conditions.”

Harsh was most recently a popular guide with the Perch Patrol Guide Service on Devils Lake. You might check their social pages for some classic photos of him in action with clients and friends.
