51" Muskie

On a fishing trip to Lake St. Clair with my dad and grandpa, we spent an afternoon trying to catch each of our first muskie! Within a few hours of trolling, we had all landed a fish. My turn was up and one of our middle rods got hammered! I knew it was a big fish by the way it was pulling out line and there was nothing I could do to stop it! After a long and exciting fight, this monster was in the boat! Words can't describe my excitement! We spent several minutes reviving her in the muskie tank, took a few quick measurements (51 inches long 21 1/2 inch girth) and put her back to swim another day!
