Fishing Gear: Bubba Small Shears

Fishing Gear: Bubba Small Shears

Bubba Small Shears

Description and Application: Bubba’s new shears are multi-functional, lightweight and highly durable. The family of shears each feature the company’s iconic non-sip grip, large finger holds and extra-sharp blades. The blades are engineered to cut monofilament, fluorocarbon and braided line with ease, plus the shears feature a split shot crimp, bottle opener and lanyard hole for tool management. The blades come standard with a small screw in the center for adjustments if necessary.

Staff Perspective: Just like everything in Bubba’s lineup, these things are tough and dependable, designed by anglers who care about quality. While this set represents the smallest model in the family, they are not small in potential and productivity. I’ve gone through countless scissors over the years, only to replace each with the next piece of junk. Now I’ve found a match made in heaven, at least these are my favorite scissors/shears of all time. I wholeheartedly suggest owning a pair, or three.
