Description and Application: The Helix 9 CHIRP MSI+ GPS G4N features a 9-inch display, Mega Side Imaging+, Mega Down Imaging+, Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar and internal GPS with Humminbird Basemap. As with all Helix G4N models, the 9 includes standard features such as AutoChart Live, Wi-Fi and NMEA 2000, in addition to Bluetooth and Ethernet networking for compatibility with the One-Boat Network family of products from Humminbird, Minn Kota and Cannon.

Staff Perspective:When it comes to seeing everything beneath your boat or kayak, the right electronics put you in the driver’s seat. The Helix 9, as far as I’m concerned, is the most bang for your buck—it features all the same technology you’ll find in larger Helix units but in a slimmer profile. I swap mine between my bass boat and my Old Town kayak as it works wonder in both scenarios. With the recently integrated Mega technology, clarity has achieved new levels at a reasonable price.
