Description and Application: This high-performing deep cycle battery built on patented Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) chemistry, LBP12V12Ah, features a built-in automatic battery management system (BMS) that keeps the battery running at peak performance while preventing overheating, overcharging, and maximizing cell cycle life. Designed as a "drop-in replacement," this is a plug-and-play option for any application that currently uses a lead acid, gel, or AGM style battery.
Staff Perspective: While there are probably numbers of solid applications across the fishing and hunting spaces for this battery, I’ve found it especially helpful on a kayak or fishing boat to keep portable devices and GoPro cameras charged up and running at full force. This battery has also come in handy supplying seemingly endless power to my kayak navigation lights and Humminbird Helix 9 Heading Sensor—easy and justifiable reason to keep a smaller battery handy at all times. This one hasn’t failed me yet.
