Description and Application: For quick, easy removal of your cable-steer, bow-mount trolling motor. Extruded aluminum design with side screw provides quiet and secure locking system. Fits 52", 60", 62" and 72" shaft foot control motors, and 62" shaft hand control motors. The bracket allows the trolling motor to be quickly removed from, and reattached to boat deck, the side-screw design attaches trolling motor to the top bracket and slides into deck-mounted bottom bracket, secured with tightening screw. The bracket is comprised of solid, anodized aluminum construction, includes stainless steel mounting hardware and the brackets can be secured with padlock (not included) for additional security. This model is compatible with Ultrex, Fortrex, Maxxum, and Edge. There are numbers of other motor-specific quick-release brackets available on Minn Kota’s website.

Staff Perspective:Being able to quickly remove and replace the trolling motor for various reasons makes the company’s numerous quick-release brackets very valuable. There are times when you’ll sleep better knowing your gear is safely stored out of a potential burglar’s eye, and perhaps you run two different trolling motors and need to make a quick change, either way MK has you covered.
