Simms ProDry Fishing Jacket and Bib
Description and Application: Built for tournament performance, both the jacket and bib offer impressive durability with increased denier face fabric, while maintaining a lightweight feel and a modern look. Leading-edge Gore-Tex Pro durable weatherproof and breathable 3L fabric keeps the water out, and the hood was designed to handle high speeds while racing back to weigh-in—then it neatly tucks away in the collar when not in use. The jacket features water-tight exposed dual chest pockets and interior zippered stretch-woven pocket for cell phones and other necessities, zippered handwarmer pockets with adjustable waist cinch cord and more. The bibs come standard with wide belt loops and a single kill-switch D-ring, top-load welted thigh pockets with right-side plier holsters, 2-way side zipper opening for easy on/off while wearing boots. The jacket is available in sizes S-3XL in three colors and bibs come in sizes S-3Xl and two colors.
Staff Perspective: Simms does nothing halfway. Over the years of wearing many brands of raingear, there are only a couple I’m willing to rely on, including Simms. The company pays attention to detail, listens closely to the people who wear their gear the most and continually strive to make a better product. I respect that. This stuff is spendy, but once you wear it and put it to use in a real-life situation, you’ll know why.
Cost: Jacket: $599.95; Bib: $599.95
