Description and Application: Deep diving crankbaits are common, but the unique curved bills of the XD series allow the bait to dive deeper and faster, changing the deep diving crankbait game forever. The XD series from Strike King meets the demand for deep-running crankbaits. The built-in free floating rattle chambers emit assorted sound frequencies during the retrieve that following fish will find hard to resist. The 10XD weighs 2 ounces and will achieve running depths of 25 feet.

Staff Perspective:This is not a small crankbait and will require specialized gear to retrieve without excessive arm and hand fatigue. But the fish love it—the large profile combined with the wobbling action appeals to big bass holding to deep structure, especially wood. This bait is a fantastic big reservoir lure and especially into Mexico at El Salto and Picachos. Don’t overlook it for river muskies, either. The 10XD comes in 21 eye-catching colors.
