Lure / Bait used: Lure | blue 1/4 oz Tube bait

Two days of fishing for smallmouth with Cousin Perch. First day high wind and heavy rain shut us down--two fish all day. Second day, river is stained. My buddy Troy caught one 20" plus first thing. Late morning bite improved. Caught and released four 18-19" fish. Then, a cast to shoreline rocks resulted in a good hit. Drag starts screaming and my St. Croix 6'6" bent way down. Worked her toward the boat and saw her; we knew it was a very big fish. She took off on a big run. got her to the boat again and tried to net her. She ran again. Once more to the boat and Perch scooped her up. I think I heard a rebel yell come from the boat. Good times.
