Berkley Frittside New Sizes

Berkley Frittside New Sizes

Description and Application:

The already popular and productive Berkley Frittside crankbaits, designed by former Bassmaster Classic champion and renowned crankbait guru David Fritts, have been expanded into additional sizes. Flat-sided balsa crankbaits are known for their action but not their durability. The Berkley scientists worked alongside Fritts to develop a crankbait that not only offers the attractive action that comes with a flat-sided crankbait, but also with a level of durability for a lifetime of fishing. New to the line are the Frittside Junior and Biggun’. The Biggun’ is a size-7 crank that measures 2.82 inches and runs 2 to 5 feet, and the Junior is a size 5 that measures 2 inches in length and runs 2 to 5 feet. Each are available in 18 awesome colors and come armed with ultra-sharp Berkley Fusion19 trebles.

Staff Perspective:

There’s no question a flat-sided crankbait is a cold-water bass catcher, but by now having the versatility to implement different sizes allows the angler to match the hatch and provide unique encounters with an already successful profile. Sometimes a subtle change in action, depth, size or color will make the difference between a goose egg and a hefty five-bass limit at the end of the day. The new Frittsides will get you there.—TA
