The day before on this small stream I had hauled in a 21" carp. This one was a 23" carp caught by my grandson. We were on a steep bank and I missed getting it in the net a couple times and it kept running. Cody was laughing as he fought it and said he was getting worn out.After he hauled it in, he said he could not catch any more carp that day because his arms were too tired.

I'm guessing at the weight using an online fish calculator as we had no scale with us.
