Finesse News Network's Gear Guide: Wacky Shad by Optimum Bait Company

Finesse News Network's Gear Guide: Wacky Shad by Optimum Bait Company

Optimum Bait Company recently announced the birth of their three-inch Wacky Shad.

It is endowed with two realistic eyes, and its slim body-shape allows it replicate the odd contortions of a wounded minnow.

Some anglers present it to their quarries on a drop-shot rig, others execute a swim-and-shake-or-twitch retrieve with a darter-head jig, and topwater aficionados  rig it without a sinker and pop it across the surface.

It is available in 14 colors: chocolate neon blue vein, Junebug, rainbow trout, smoky craw, baitfish, black, pearl white, watermelon pepper,  chartreuse, copper shad, green-back sardine, black blue choyy/blue shad, ayu and wakasagi.

The suggested retail price for a package of five in $3.50.
