My friend Harrison and I arrived at our "honey-hole" late April 12th in hope that we could hook into another monster like the ones we had been catching for the past 2 years. I went to my favorite spot catching a Largemouth almost every cast on a bait I had received from my goddess-like aunt Erin. Suddenly I felt a jerk like I had gotten hung on one of a couple of logs in the lake. Then my 12 pound Stren line started to peel out. I immediately began to fight back against what I recognized to be a fish-sqautch. About a minute later I had my largest fish to date on the bank and Harrison beside me drooling over the fish. After weighing the sqautch and setting it next to my rod as a size reference we released the sqautch back into its habitat.
