Description and Application: The innovative design of Vantage delivers fast, effortless control of stow and deploy, steering and backtrolling—more productive fishing in an instant. The system breaks away on impact just in case you find some unforeseen hazards and it’s easy to reset. When depth and fishing conditions change, all you have to do is push a button to raise or lower the motor, plus so much more. The motor is available in a 24-volt, 80-pound model and a 36-volt, 101-pound thrust version.

Staff Perspective: Backtrolling is far from an old-school method of presenting baits, and it still produces tremendous results today. Vantage puts more control in the rear of your boat, making it a snap to perfectly present your offerings, then replicate it once you’ve determined the pattern. This is the most technologically advanced transom-mount trolling motor ever. And it works as hard as you do.
