We were not even sure if the White Bass were still running or not. But we decided we would give them a shot anyway. My Girlfriend is trying to finish up her Royal Bass Slam this year. So we decided to use a local guide. Whom we had booked with last year, but due to schedule issues and a hit an run with his boat trailer we hadn't fished with. He wasn't even sure that we could get on the white bass. The weather had been up and down lately and the lake was really high. The weather was a little questionable on this day too. After we hit several places on Bull Shoals Lake, with no luck on the whites. But my girlfriend was catching a few Largemouths. We headed to Beaver Creek for a try.Found a few folks not doing to well., finding white or 2. As we worked up the creek I hooked the first white, then 2,3,4 ect. She did finally catch a few whites as well (so she can check them off the list). This was the nicest white bass of the day. Had a pretty good day together and made a new friend as well.
