Rod Building: Marking The Blank

The foundation of constructing a fishing rod begins by marking the blank. Taking the time to mark the blank with a china marker ensures that you have all the parts you need (like the reel seat, grips, and butt cap)—and that these parts gets set exactly where you intended on the blank.
