A friend and I went went to the Salmon River in NY for 2 days in early November. On day two of our trip I hooked what I first thought was a salmon. Only when it first jumped, did I realize it was a big steelhead. I fought it for over 20 minutes and 200 yards down stream, we got it in the net. It measures 34 inches long and weighs 13.5 lbs.
