The Fish with the Big Tail

The Fish with the Big Tail
The Fish with the Big Tail

Alex Sigurdson

Minnetonka Minnesota

My dad, brother and I were all out fishing this channel in between these two main bodies of water on Lac Seul. We had just drove into this spot and within five minutes my rod bent almost in half. I set the hook and the fish didn't budge an inch. I started reeling and drag was flying out and this fish would not come off of the bottom. After about five minutes I saw the flash of the fish and immediately saw the size of the fish. After we got it in the net I saw that massive tail which was easily twice the size of my hand. It was then that i knew i had landed the fish of a lifetime!
