The Kill Shot is one of the three new soft-plastic finesse baits that YUM has created recently. And it will be available for anglers to purchase in January.
It is a 3 3/4-inch bait. It has a short cone-shaped head. A significant portion of the sides and top of its torso is encircled with 13 ribs. From the end of the ribs to the junction of the tail, its torso has the shape of a long cone. Its belly is flat, which should enhance the gliding factor when it is affixed to a mushroom-style jig and retrieved with the standard Midwest finesse swim-glide-and-shake presentation. Its tail is flat and endowed with a keel or vertical ridge, and the tail moves with what the folks at YUM describe as a subtle side-to-side or up-and-down action.
According to Lawrence Taylor of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who is the public relations manager at PRADCO-Fishing, the Kill Shot replicates the features that many anglers relish with hand-poured baits. Taylor noted that two of the problems that confound anglers who like to use hand-poured baits revolve around limited inventories and costs. But YUM's ways of manufacturing hand-poured quality soft-plastic baits has eliminated those two problems. Thus, anglers can purchase a package of 10 Kill Shots for $2.99.

It is available in eight colors: Bold Bluegill, Green Pumpkin, Green Pumpkin/Purple Flake, Ghost Shad, Morning Dawn, Ox Blood/Red Flake, Watermelon Candy, and Watermelon Seed.
